Meet the Founder

Dominique Moore, M.Ed.

Dominique Moore, M.Ed., is an educator, community organizer, entrepreneur, and social impact leader committed to transforming lives through education, advocacy, and community empowerment. A proud native Washingtonian and devoted mother, Dominique has dedicated her career to ensuring that young people and families, particularly those in historically underserved Black and Brown communities, have access to the opportunities, resources, and support they need to thrive.

With more than 15 years in education, Dominique has witnessed firsthand how poverty, trauma, disability, and community violence can shape a child's future. Those experiences fueled her passion to move beyond the classroom and create lasting systems of support for youth and families. Her guiding philosophy is simple yet powerful: "If you can free a child's heart, you can teach them anything." That belief has become the foundation of every space she leads, from classrooms and community forums to policy tables and grassroots movements.

Dominique is the Founder and Executive Director of Life Reign, a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth development, women's empowerment, violence prevention, and social justice advocacy. Under her leadership, Life Reign has become a trusted community partner, creating safe spaces for young people, supporting families through wraparound services, advancing educational equity, and collaborating with organizations focused on housing stability, workforce development, and public safety. Life Reign is an active member of the Youth Power and Safety Collective and partners with organizations such as Sterling House to help families transition into long-term housing.

She is also the Founder of Mommy Gang Entertainment, a resource network that connects mothers with educational tools, community programming, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships while navigating parenthood.

In addition to leading her organizations, Dominique serves as a Community Organizer with EmpowerEd, where she works alongside educators, families, policymakers, and community leaders to advocate for equitable public education, strengthen teacher voice, and address the systemic root causes of educational inequity. Whether organizing community campaigns, facilitating public forums, or advocating for policy reform, Dominique believes meaningful change begins by empowering those closest to the challenges to lead the solutions.

A lifelong learner, Dominique earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Special Education from Virginia State University, where she served as Student Government Association Vice President and became a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She later earned her Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Capella University and completed coursework in Philosophy through Harvard University, further strengthening her commitment to ethical leadership and civic engagement.

Dominique's leadership and service have earned recognition throughout the Washington, D.C., region. She is a two-time DC Teacher Voice Award recipient and has been featured on WPGC 95.5's Creators of the DMV. She has partnered with numerous government agencies, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations, including the Office of Gun Violence Prevention, the Department of Human Services, Crownz Incorporated, and local elected officials, to expand opportunities for youth, strengthen families, and promote safer, healthier communities.

Whether mentoring young leaders, moderating community conversations, advocating before policymakers, or building partnerships across sectors, Dominique remains steadfast in her mission to educate minds, inspire hearts, and create lasting change. She believes that true leadership is measured not by titles, but by the lives we empower, the communities we strengthen, and the legacy we leave behind.
